Splash around at bath time with Thomas the Tank engine and the Thomas Bath Island. Suitable for children from two years old, this bath toy is a bright and cheerful hive of activity.
The feature that will undoubtedly be the favourite of your little bather is Thomas on his slippery track down into the water. Sit Thomas on the mouth of the tunnel, press down on the little red signal and watch Thomas launch himself down his track.
Other fun aquatic features include a spinning windmill and a water tower with attached spinning wheel for some good scope and pouring fun. The whole island attaches to the bath with two suction cups, and just to ensure that Thomas knows what to do in water, his friend Bulstrode the tugboat is included to show him the way.

Bought this for my son's 2nd birthday, its a good durable, chunky toy and is good value for money, it looks good on the side of the bath (although it can slide down from time to time as its quite heavy) My son loves the bubble maker (you pour soap and water in, press a button and it froths up) The only thing is the chute sticks out a fair bit and can be a bit clumsy, my son often scrapes himself off it, or hits his head on it when standing up when I put it higher, also Thomas comes down the chute at high speed which he is a bit unsure of, he plays with it every bath time and it makes his bath time fun :)

I bought this for my 18 month old and he loves it! It's made of pretty sturdy plastic and it doesn't require much in the way of assembly. I haven't found it a problem to stick it to the bath or tiles provided they are fairly clean and we don't try to stick it to a bit of the bath that curves too much. As mentioned in other reviews, the slide does come off if knocked, but not *that* easily that it comes off when played with normally. I guess it was designed to come off if a child bumps into it so they don't hurt themselves on a big sticking out bit of plastic, or snap it off and break it! From the description I had imagined that the toy blew bubbles like the ones you get from a bubble wand and washing up liquid, but you add your own baby shampoo or body wash and water and you get something more like foam. My son like it anyway as he makes the foam then uses it to wash himself with. All in all a good buy.

Excellent purchase, my 2 year old son never seems to get bored with this toy. Without doubt the best bath toy he has! My only (slight) complaint is the fact that the suction pads on the toy don't always keep it attached to the bath, it does have a tendency to slide off. Putting that aside, would recommend this to others.

I was really looking forward to giving this to my son for xmas so he would enjoy his bath more but we have not been able to get it to stick to the bath and have had to stick it to the tiles so it sits on the edge of the bath! The slide falls off all the time and to the point where i am tempted to glue it on! my son does really like it and for any thomas fan its a must!

We had one of these sent to us for my sons first brithday in October it seamed to work fine and my son loved it as he is a massive thomas fan, then after about 20 mins the wheels didnt go round, i eventually got round to sending this back in January. Amazon replaced it for us and the replacement did'nt work even for 1 moment so now have a voucher and will buy something else.
Amazon seams to think there maybe a faulty batch, the toy in principle is great but in practice just does'nt work

We had one of these sent to us for Christmas and had a very disappointed toddler when, despite several different sets of batteries, we just couldn't get it to go. Amazon replaced it for us and it worked for one set of batteries but then we couldn't get it to work again so now have a voucher and will buy something else.
Limited fun too, my little one (nearly 2) got bored very quickly with it as he couldn't manage to get it placed correctly on the track, I'm sure there's better things out there. He plays for hours with his Brio set and the little battery train that goes with that.

this was a christmas present and the first one was unfortunately faulty but it was replaced promptly with no quibbles and the replacement works fine. it is quite entertaining and durable enough for little hands - a hit with any little thomas fan.

I bought this item for my 18 month old Grandson who loves Thomas. I read the reviews and felt it fitted the bill.
We took this over at Christmas and it took about half an hour to get the train started. Appears there may have been some fault as the battery compartment we discovered, had to be unscrewed partly for the train to work. The sound was fine, and if it were not due to the expectations of an excited Grandson we would have sent this back.
A great idea but the train doesn't stay on the track very well. During the time the train was functioning it was a good solid toy but it is only February now and sadly there is still problems in the battery department. Would be best to check beforehand but that means damaging the packaging. The train is now carried around and the track almost forgotten about.

I purchased this toy for my 3 year old son who loves thomas and his friends, he has not stopped playing with it he does sometimes get a bit frustrated with putting the pieces together but with a little help he has hours of play with it.

This is brilliant for our 8 and a half month old baby girl. We make them pop up and act surprised and she laughs out loud and then rushes to put them all down, she has it down to a fine art now. She loves playing with it every day and is starting to make the animals pop up herself which she loves. If your baby is interested in the world then this is a great toy to have.

I wanted a Pop up toy just like my own children had as youngsters for my 18 month old grandson! Nothing has changed in 20 odd years - my two children loved it then and so does Jack, my grandson!
